Legender only model in segment to get 4×4 system and manual gearbox
Considering the manual version of the Legender 4×4 is priced at Rs 46.36 lakh, it is priced Rs 1.73 lakh lower than the automatic gearbox version, which costs Rs 48.09 lakh. The Legender’s price point puts it in contention with other large seven-seat diesel SUVs like the MG Gloster (Rs 39.57 lakh-44.03 lakh) and the Jeep Meridian (Rs 24.99 lakh-38.79 lakh), though neither gets a 4×4 system with a manual gearbox.

2.8-litre diesel engine paired with 6-speed manual gearbox
The Legender 4×4 MT is powered by the 2.8-litre four-cylinder diesel engine found in the AT variants. While it produces the same 204hp, the torque rating when paired to the 6-speed manual gearbox is 80Nm less, at 420Nm. There are no other mechanical changes, and power is sent to all four wheels via the 4×4 system.

No other changes have been made to the Fortuner 4×4 MT. It is offered in a single Platinum White Pearl with Black Roof dual-tone exterior finish and 18-inch alloy wheels, and the interior has the same black and maroon theme. The features list is also identical, with highlights being the ambient lighting, 11-speaker JBL audio system with a sub-woofer, ventilated front seats, hands-free tailgate opening, and 7 airbags.
