Honda has launched the NX200 at Rs 1.68 lakh and this bike is essentially a renamed CB200X. The NX200 aligns with Honda’s latest nomenclature and brings added features, along with an engine that now meets the latest emissions standards.
- NX200 uses the same 4.2-inch TFT display as Honda Activa
- Torque is down by 0.4Nm, gets traction control
The NX200 shares its mechanicals as well as design with the outgoing CB200X. It uses the same 184.4cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, two valve engine that is now OBD2B compliant. It produces 17hp and 15.7Nm, which is a drop of 0.4Nm compared to the outgoing model. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch.
In terms of design, it remains largely unchanged and continues to use all-LED lighting. It has gained features such as a 4.2-inch TFT, which has brought along Bluetooth connectivity; this is the same display as seen on the recently updated Honda Activa. Another feature addition is the presence of a traction control system. Apart than these changes, the NX200 is largely the same.

It is available in three colours – red, blue and black – and is priced at Rs 1.68 lakh, which is an increase of Rs 17,000 compared to the outgoing model.
