Honda has launched the Rebel 500 that is powered by the same 471cc parallel-twin engine that also does duty in the NX500. Here are all the differences between the two.

The Rebel 500 sports a low-slung, bobber-style design with blacked-out components and a minimalist aesthetic. As expected from its bobber character, it features a pulled-back handlebar, and a low seat height of 690mm for a relaxed riding posture. In contrast, the NX500 has a taller, more purposeful stance with a significantly higher seat height of 830mm. Its upright seating position is designed to keep the rider comfortable over longer journeys.
Honda Rebel 500 vs NX500: weight and dimensions
The NX500 weighs 196kg, just 5kg more than the Rebel 500, which comes in at 191kg. Despite the small difference in overall weight, the NX500 carries 6.3 litres more fuel, making the weight gain nearly equal to the added fuel alone.
Despite the added weight, both motorcycles are equipped with identical brakes, featuring the same disc diameter at both ends. However, they differ significantly in tyre sizes. The Rebel uses a unique 16-inch setup at both ends, with a chunky 130-section front tyre and a 150-section rear. In contrast, the NX500 features a more road-biased 19/17-inch (front/rear) setup, with a 110-section front tyre and a 160-section rear.

It offers the same engine but comes with better equipment and is available at BigWing dealers across the country.
